Property owners are reminded that a fire permit is required if an area larger than two (2) metres in any direction (some conditions apply) is required to be burnt. Please be aware that if you start a fire, even a small rubbish fire and a neighbour calls 000, the the fire service will be despatched. To avoid the embarrassment and possibly the costs; please go through your local fire warden and follow the rules.
